Heritage Energy Operational Services Limited (HEOSL), operator of Oil Mining Lease (OML 30) has embarked on the construction of several projects in its host communities, Vanguard reports.
The company said that it has begun to execute “quick-win” infrastructural projects across its host communities in Delta state worth millions of naira. Mr. Funkakpo Fufeyin, Manager, Government/Community Relations, HEOSL, stated this at a town hall stakeholders’ meeting with 24 host communities in cluster 10, at Agbarho.
“As Heritage, we are business-minded, [and hope] to profit in a peaceful, friendly environment,[and] to generate revenue for the federal, state and local governments. And the major beneficiaries are the host communities in OML30. Also, we are holding all communities as very important to our operations, we shall work together and benefit together,” he said.
