Nigeria set for International Summit on Energy Investment

The Oil & Gas Council set to host major West Africa Energy Assembly in Lagos, December 1-2, to attract investment and develop business opportunities in Nigeria’s O&G and Power sectors –

Against the backdrop of a newly-elected Government and new Government initiatives to reinvigorate and bring transparency to Nigeria’s Oil & Gas sector, and gas to power projects, the Oil & Gas Council is inviting investors, financiers, and Oil & Gas companies from around the world to Lagos over December 1-2 for two days of discussions, networking and receptions for senior executives.

The West Africa Energy Assembly will feature thought leadership from the likes of Kola Karim, Wale Tinubu, Osagie Okunbor, and other prominent business leaders in Nigeria. Oil Ministers from Equatorial Guinea and the Congo are also confirmed, as well as NOCs from the region. Confirmed sponsors include: Streamsowers & Kohn, BlackRock, BP, Ecobank, Seven Energy, IFC, Taleveras and others.

Themes for the conference include investment and finance, gas to power projects, midstream and infrastructure development, upstream exploration and JVs, Government policy, local content and the role of the services industry, business growth strategies and opportunities, and funding sources and the capital markets.
