Italy’s Atb Riva Calzoni ships largest ever hydrofracking reactors to Dangote Refinery

The two hydrofracking reactors built by Atb Riva Calzoni and destined for the first Nigerian refinery of company Dangote Refining Ltd. have sailed on board the HappyLift ship from Venice port.

The reactors were manufactured in Roncadelle, in the province of Brescia, and in Marghera, in the assembly workshops of Atb Riva Calzoni, located a few metres away from the port terminal.

Each of the two components are among the largest ever produced in the world for the petrochemical sector, weigh 1,535 tonnes and measure 60 metres in length, and set a record for the port.
