BPCL takes Agbami from Vitol as Nigerian crude sees brisk spot trade

BPCL booked at least one cargo of Nigerian crude, while strong demand for light oil was helping the others sell quickly on a spot basis, Reuters reports.

Light grades, including Agbami, Qua Iboe and Bonny Light were selling quickly amid well-supported petrol margins.

Offer levels of around $2 per barrel were likely to find buyers, traders said, though no fresh spot deals surfaced. India’s BPCL took a cargo of Agbami in its latest tender, likely from Vitol.
