AOS Orwell completes Ogbotobo integration project for Shell


AOS Orwell, an indigenous oilfield services firm has completed the integration of the process automation cabinets for the Southern Swamp Associated Gas Solution (SSAGS) project field auxiliary room at Ogbotobo on behalf of SAIPEM for delivery to Shell Petroleum and Development Company (SPDC), The Guardian reports.

In a statement issued by the company’s Country Manager (PMD), Mr. Puneet Garg, it said that it is the First Integrated Factory Acceptance Test process monitoring and integration control unit successfully completed by the company for SSAGS.

He described the feat as a clear demonstration of “excellent team work by all.” Garg said: “We are proud to announce that the Field Auxiliary Room (FAR) has been tested and cleared for shipment by SPDC, SAIPEM & EMERSON.”

Garg said that the project has been delivered by AOS Orwell, which acted as the indigenous partner to EMERSON on behalf of SAIPEM the main Equipment Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractor to SPDC.
